I've been in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy for almost 3 months now, and in order for me to return home, I need a wheelchair ramp leading into my home, and a modified bathroom downstairs.
In March of 2014 I was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a bone cancer. In May of 2014, I had surgery to remove 4 of my ribs on the left side of my body, shortly after the surgery I developed a nasty infection that cancelled the start of my chemotherapy. The infection became resistant to antibiotics intended to stop it, and the cancer ended up spreading.
In July of 2014, I began to experience numbness and loss of sensation in my legs, after about a week of this, I collapsed, unable to stand up anymore. The cancer spread to my lungs, where the mass, and several tiny masses, grew and began pushing on my spine. The end result was paralysis in my lower back all the way down to my toes. I have been in the hospital since July 26th, 2014. Now I have a chance to go home since a wheelchair was donated to me, but I have no accommodations at home to allow me to live there, so I'm stuck in the hospital. I'm hoping that the here would be willing to donate toward helping me get the required materials I need to go home and live with my family once more. You can help support me for just $.25 cents.
